A master tailor in a tailoring company cuts patterns, stitches premium garments, checks the work of other tailors and ensures every order meets the company’s quality and fit standards. You handle the most complex pieces, train junior tailors and keep production on schedule.

The day starts by reviewing pending orders and the cutting plan. As a master or senior tailor you cut patterns, stitch the most complex garments, check the quality of the team’s output, and resolve any fit or finishing issues. You keep production moving, guide junior tailors and update the supervisor on order progress.

Approx. INR: QAR 2,500 ≈ ₹57,500 and QAR 4,200 ≈ ₹96,600 per month (rates vary).

You work in an established, air-conditioned tailoring company with industrial machines, a dedicated cutting section and a quality-control area. The setting is professional and target-driven, tools and uniforms are provided, and senior tailors lead an organised, skilled and safe production floor.

Standard duty is around 8–10 hours per day, 6 days a week, usually on rotational shifts that may include mornings, evenings or nights. Overtime is paid separately as per Qatar Labour Law, and a weekly rest day plus paid annual leave are provided under the employment contract. Employers also provide uniforms, safety gear and on-the-job training where needed.

Because accommodation, food and transport are usually provided, most workers save a large part of their tax-exempt salary. A typical worker keeps the majority of their pay, with only small personal costs like a SIM card, mobile data, toiletries and occasional outings. This makes it possible to send strong monthly remittances home while still saving for the future.

For example, on a salary of QAR 2,500–4,200 with company-provided stay and food, many workers comfortably save and remit a large share every month, depending on personal spending and overtime earned.
